CAR SOS TV programme

What did members make of the Car SOS programme on the MK1 rebuild they did the other evening on MORE4, it has been on Nat Geo previously I believe.  Some serious cutting and welding work was required!!!!!

Its like most of these type of programmes, you actually see very little of what actually goes on

I watched it last night, what's with the green vacuum hose in the engine bay? Should that age of car have the 1.8 engine in not the 1.6?
I keep spotting the Mk1 Scirocco in the back ground as it's been in a couple of episodes (Mk1 Scirocco owner as well as the Mk1 Golf)
As abfmk1 says not enough footage of the restoration in this program.
