Camshaft - what engine?

Digging through some old parts I've come across a VW camshaft that I can't identify the original engine (an old job lot purchase). I've googled the codes and can't find anything to match.
The castings show the following at the pulley end the usual vw/Audi casting with B on the other side, further down the cam has 030 1f and WWO 2a on the other side.
Can anyone help I think it's a polo cam, maybe a g40. I don't want to just bin it as in good condition and might help someone out.
