Had a cracking day!!! yesterday now looking at the time 
fitted a new boot gas strut… 
more importantly.. got my cabby starting up nice earlier… lots of work, cleaning, time, renewing & money & now she's running without hesitating & is very responsive - don''t think she's been running like this for years! (i've only had her 2 years 14th June) Gonna get her in for a tune soon so hopefully years of trouble free happy motoring.
