Dunno if i just got cheap parts or if it always happens but i got a brand new water pump a couple years back and within a few months it looked rubbish. reccommend getting some paint on it the same colour if you want it to stay looking nice.

The novelty does not last long especially if the new bits are less superior to german quality. I recently had some rear wheel bearings that lasted less than 3000 miles.

I love part hunting and when affordable buying new bits. Weather hasn't help so all I've been doing recently is buying parts. Mrs think I'm mad driving up and down the country but it's all part of it.

SWMBO isn't so keen. I'm away all week so it's her that the Postie has to wake up and her that has to go to all the depots to get stuff when they've tried to deliver and we're not there!
