Working out build date

Evening all,just trying to work out the build date of our swallowtail,I’ve been looking back on lots of early topics about working out our chassis number but I haven’t got very far,it was registered on 1-1-1975 so obviously must have been built in 1974 but not sure when,it’s a rhd uk car aswell as lots of these seem to be lhd and wondering how many rhd models are about 

The chassis number would help us help you.
