What tires are best

I have purchased some ATS cups 7jx15 m. They came with out tires and are being fitted to my mk1 caddy. Can anyone tell me the size of tire I should be ordering as I have no idea lol and I don’t want to know the speedo reading out (1 or 2 mph I can live with)

Usually a 195 / 50 x 15 tyre would be fitted on that size rim and would keep the speedo within range, on a tintop or even a cabby,  but not sure if the caddy came with similiar sized tyres to the afore mentioned..

Put in the original size and then try different combinations to get as close as possible

But as my learned friend states, a 195/50 or 195/45 is the norm.

Cheers using that calculator a 195/50/15 seems the better option for speedo reading.

Will having a195 on a 7j give stretch look or moe of a flush look. (Not a fan of stretch)

Well, 195 is just over 7.5" so if you have a measure lip to lip on your wheels you should be able to work it out.

I would imagine it will be a flush fit.
