My standard seats are past their best after 180k so looking at a retrim. Ffigured if I'm doing that I might enhance things and curious what seats they are.

They were primarily an aftermarket seat, though some manufacturers such as BMW seem to have offered them as optional extras.
They're a long running range with detail differences depending on the age. (Think they were introduced in the early 70's?)
The adjusting knob on the one in your image suggests it's early 80's.

While I've seen a lot of similar recaros, I don't think I've ever seen them with such deep bolsters to each side of your thighs- awesome looking seats! I'd grab them if you can. Otherwise I'll have them!

Look like ford rs mk3 escort turbo. Fully retrimmed in half leather and VW centre material. With rs2000 fishnet headrests. I may be showing my age here, I had the mk3 rs. Seats were very comfortable for a skinny 22 yo, but subframes were too soft. I went through several. But the creaks always gave plenty warnings before the welds snapped.
Or,… they could be lhd g60 seats.
