My garage is at the end of the garden and joined to my neighbours. Like me, he has, or should that be had, an electric fan heater plugged in that came on periodically.
His gave out more heat than intended and a fire followed whilst we were all asleep. Amazingly, the fire, which was hot enough melt lots of plastic things in his garage somehow put itself out, most likely, starved of oxygen as my neighbours garage is well sealed and soundproofed as he used to use it as a music room.the garage is a bit whiffy and the car has a 'mist' over it but, I'm amazed and relieved that the garages and cotents are ok. I think I'll be unplugging my heater..
