Selling something on the forum?***READ ME***

Hi all,

There are questions asked sometimes about selling on the Forum of your individual sales. (Repeat sales for those of a business nature will need permission of the Chairman).

So The Mods Team and I have put together an easy guide to assist.

Please take time to read the Forum Rules in the various sections for Sale areas.

These give you the indicators as to what is expected from your advert. These are designed to help not only you but potential buyers and generally only require basic information, such as Price, Location and intended use.

For example a selling template is included in the cars for sale section and Ideally should be used for your ease and the information supplied will help potential purchasers.
Photographs and an informative ad are to your benefit.

The Rules form part of the agreement for you to use the free (generally) services for selling your Cars and Parts etc.

Any advert that does not conform to these rules will be removed from now on without warning.

I have a private plate for sale and can't work out how to put ad up as there is no headline it falls under.

Well it's somewhere between External Parts and Cars for Sale!  

To be honest I'm just not a 100% sure. 
But lets ask chortle Hairyarse  

Is the number or can the number be of special interest to Mk1 owners? 

For example, here in Austria my number is: GF MK1.
Don't think you have that but I can't see us having any old number being sold as we are not that type of website. 

But let us see what the others say and thanks for checking!

We wouldn't normally allow plates, but as it's clearly a MK1 interest one I think we'd let it go
