Any recommendations on how much it cost to retrim and bolster a driver's seat. Ideally East Sussex me and my mate have same issue pretty much battered drivers bolster and ripped

What material are you looking for will bearing on how much it costs.

Standard 'GTI' cloth is available but other cloth is now becoming harder to source.

There are vinyls. that you can probably use, but then you would need to do all 6 bolsters on the Fronts, and rear if you wanted them to match that is after you either repair or buy new bolster foam.

In the Archive section, I have a how-do-i-do-thats in repairing your bolsters, and such.  But as I had an all white interior in my cabby and I was tired of it, the foam deteriorated, and well I replaced it with a Pleather cover I bought from Germany but I can't find the dealer that I bought them from on EBAY.

Just make sure that you use a wire wrapping over the side bolsters rod prior to installing or repairing the bolster foams.  similar to:

Prevents the Chafing of the side bolster foam.
