Mk1 Gti 1.6 Build

Guys I have a 1.6 Gti (Eg) motor for my mk1 and I am thinking of giving it a little buff,what would be ideal to get around 125-130 hp? I was thinking 286schrick cam,I have a 4-1 Sebring Manifold and maybe a 50mm exhaust,do you think it would be possible to reach around that hp?

I know nothing and better advice may be forthcoming,  but i would imagine that figure would not be reached and even if it was, it would only be at the top end of the rev range, and the car would probably be unpleasant to drive in normal road use.

What makes you say that?Do you think that the cam or the headers are going to be too aggressive?
