I DON'T BELIEVE IT!

For those of you who don't know me my name is Mike and although I live in Vienna, Austria I like you all have a great passion for the Golf Mk1.

I joined this club back in February 2012 after searching the Internet.
I'd just bought my Mk1 after selling them some 30 years ago for VW.

I started with saying hello, then asked one question which lead to another and so on.

Anyhow I just wanted to see what was happening this morning on the forum and I was blown away when I saw this!



This is my 7,000th post and to be honest I'd never thought back then I'd reach 100.

Will I see 8, 9 or even 10,000 well that's not down to me of course, well that and I have a lovely son Daniel who will be 19 this year and who wants mine so badly you couldn't believe it.
He used it yesterday and washed it properly and hear it is.



Why did I bother to mention this?
Simply because this great Club we have here is so special because of the people and of course the knowledge.

How many of us would be up the Creek without the paddle hey?

So thank you for all the help and friendship over the past 7,000 posts and let's strive to keep this Club No. 1 in its class. 😀👍

Oh and mean everyone, no Club of any type can be this successful without a great team!

As for another 7k well that depends on a lot, my son's ambitions to own my Mk1 and this baby Gremlin.



She's a 12 week on Field Spaniel that I brought home from up in the mountains of Austria on Saturday, her name is Genesis! 😉

We have another one and she is my 5th spaniel and for sure my last.

So I've got my work cut out clearly but I will always be supporting the club, helping members and a very proud member of the Team!

7003 down only another 6997 to go  Absolutely right on the team though, to be serious for a second. I guess you don't realise how much work goes into it until you're walking in the shoes, so to speak.

Not so sure about the asset bit but more like an accident looking for some where to happen knowing my Mk1's luck 🍀 remember. 😉

My wife keeps telling me to write a book but honestly I think she's just trying to get me to shut up! 😂👍

I think that's why she tricked me into buying myself a real little Gremlin.



Here's are two Field Spaniels together but we do have two bed's, so guess which one has the bigger bed and is pee'd off?
