Not sure if I am losing the plot or to much vodka. I have looked online and there are loads of different choices for dizzy and rotor arm.
What's the correct one for a 1.6 gti

Depends on what year your car is and what type of HT leads you have, dissy caps have either a small pin in the middle (later type) or no pin (early type) where the HT lead fits.
There is also 2 makes of distributor, Bosch or Ducellier..
Rotor arms either have a rev limiter built in or with out and I think there is 2 different sizes shafts.
