would love a citi as daily, the newest ive seen in UK was a 2001 Y reg.

I think they stopped production in 2009 or 2010 though

Nice little cars!
Be nice to see the difference in how they drive.
If they are anything like how my mrs 09plate polo drives, very nice too!
Just not as involving to drive as my mk1 :)

Good day gentlemen,

Only 1000  R line 1.8i citi golfs were manufactured in SA. VW SA manufactured more than 1000 1.8i citi golfs but not  with the wide body kit

It's a beautiful drive mate. Drove one of them last year December when I went back to South Africa for holiday. Rappid as well!! One of my father's friends still works at VW Uitenhage. He is a test driver. (What a job!!!)

When I was in cape town 5 years ago every other car seemed to be a citi golf.
