Can a wedding dress fit?

Post

I'm getting married in January 2017 and my fiancée has said she thought it would be nice to have my white cabby as her wedding car. Everyone keeps saying it'll be too small and therefor I was just wondering if anyone happened to have any experience of attempting to fit bride + dress into their golf? :P

Cheers!

Depends on how big the dress is

Can a wedding dress fit?

Lots of brides have been chauffeured to weddings in cabbies.

There was one recently on TV program don't tell the bride…..

I did a wedding for one of my friends two years ago.
The Bride had a fairly large bell bottom dress on but we pulled the passenger seat right forward and crammed her in the back.
None to elegant watching her get in and out but she and husband along with the guests enjoyed it.

To be honest I think it was the highlight of the day!
I think there were more photos taken of that then taken at the reception!   ;)

Why not take the front passenger seat out for the day, then there's no problem with access?

Was just going to post that! Best way ;)

Otherwise the dress will fold in ok. I drive classic and vintage wedding cars and a 1936 SS Jaguar we have is way smaller in the back than a cabby for leg/dress room.

In that we can fold the bride and her dress in no problem. That said, the rear doors do help! ;)

Andy would and I quote,  "we can fold the bride and her dress in no problem."

Not sure that's what the Bride or the Groom had planned for their Wedding day mate!   O_o

But that Jag does look the absolute business.

Lol, it can be quite entertaining getting them in and out of all the cars.

You have to look the other way sometimes ;)

lovin' the SS!

(and just to maintain the innuendo aspect of this thread, the first 'S' stands for Swallow of course… :)

is it a 2.5 or 3.5?

back to the thread, I've little doubt that a bride and her dress can fit.

but more importantly, when is the stag do?

Great idea about taking the front seat out but make sure you clean any grease out from seat runners etc!

I used my white cabby to take my friend and the grooms party to wedding , his wife's wedding car broke down, so after he was stood in isle for a good 20 mins   , I had to shoot up and get her. I put the passenger seat right back, she had a decent size to the dress in the bottom and she got in fine
