Apart from the fact i dont like convertibles in general it dosnt look horrible, rear three quarter view reminds me of triumph tr7

Iirc this is a Bieber conversion that was carried out and its had an IVA test. This resulted in a Q registration number plate and a new date of first registration. There's more information over on the Scirocco forum.
