Any ideas what this is

Not Vag related in any way but see this in a customers house and just wondering if anybody knows what it is. 

It's a slim line double radiator in white. Couldn't resist. Haha

In all serious it looks like an expansion tank. Maybe from a back boiler. But just a guess.
