After 7 years resto - had to cancel MOT last minute

Went away in July and had Campaign booked in for its first MOT in years probably 12 or more.

Put 10 ltrs of fuel in before we went and came back to garage full of petrol fumes and mostly all petrol leaked out whilst we were away.

Thought it was rubber hose from tank to pump and swapped it twice with 2 spares I had but after examination it was tank that was holed 🙈 - cleaned and painted tank up about 5 years ago and no sign of rot then but I can't have checked hard enough.

Bit soul destroying !

At least all bolts came undone easily enough - wish I had a 4 post ramp, nice workshop and assistant !!

Hopefully this will cure issue and fingers crossed for advisory free MOT - it's exempt from 4 October but would always get MOTs done just to be on safe side.
