Hi
Anyone know where I can get some of the sticky butyl blocks to fix the fairings back on the A pillars . Mark at Classic VW had some at the annual gathering but only come as part of a kit with the plastic deflectors.
ta for any info

MOTY 2013

on etka there is a note 'also use D 438 515 A1 which is 'double sided adhesive tape' not cheap at 26.94+VAT though!
found a pic for reference if you want to buy some more generic double sided tape off the bay of e:
looks liek VW use it for just about anything that wants sticking to the shell, badges, sill trims, etc

If you have a double glazing company near you it's the same stuff they use for bonding glass into frames

Thanks for your suggestions. I hadn't thought about using double sided glazing tape which will do the job. I've ordered a roll of 6mm tape which seems to be the thickest available.
