Having just sold my show quality mk2 I was building for 5+ years, I'm now looking for a super clean Mk1 to get my teeth stuck into.
Ideally, I'm looking for an Alpine White model. If it's a GTI, even better. But I'm open to anything, provided it's a minter.
I'm looking for something that's been totally sorted to a high standard (with evidence from someone reputable), with excellent bodywork inclusive of the bay and underneath.
I like the idea of having one with a 16v on ITBs or carbs, lowered and on BBS RS/RM. Recaros is a bonus, but I'd be looking at custom anyway.
I've got a good budget and I'm really keen to get involved in the Mk1 world!
I will be popping to the national on Sunday, so if you're looking to sell and you're there then let me know!

My 76 swallowtail is available.
You won't find a much cleaner car for the money.
Obviously it's standard, but such a good base.

Lovely car mate, I will have a think about it but not keen on LHD or 5 doors.
Thanks for the heads up though!

Personally love a LHD. I get you with the 5 doors tho.
No worries., good luck with the search.

I know you posted a long time ago but I have a mars red 1984 tin top that's heavily modified with a 2.8 vr6 in. The car is immaculate and certainly stands out.
