Cabriolet wanted

Keen to help my daughter follow in my footsteps with classic cars. Needs to be something more sensible than my era of '70s Triumphs and she'd like to help recommission a mk1 Golf. Ideal car would be something like as follows:

1. Age not that important but prefer WXYA reg (but really not essential)
2. She likes the older colours particularly helios, the browns and the bronzes. Condition more important though.
3. Manual
4. A recomissioning project is ideal e.g. a complete car sat in a dry garage for 10 years with a good body perhaps save for 1 panel needing paint (for example) but needing renewal of mechanical parts, brakes etc.
5. Early service history always a nice to have.

The budget is circa 3k give or take.
