Wanted Mk1 Golf GTi - Looking for a solid GTi ASAP

Hi all,
Im looking for a Mk1 GTi at the moment and there seems to be a real shortage of cars in my price range.
Looking to spend about 2.5k, possibly up to 3k for the right car.
It doesnt need to be mint, but needs to be solid and either sensibly modded with quality parts or standard
Im not bothered about colour or age either.
Anyone looking to sell? Cash waiting for the right car.
