ive got the bug

so on the 8th of december i bought my first mk1 83 driver. love it fairly mint body other than little bits of bubble rust. now comes the part after having one i want more was just wondering how much should i be looking at spending to get a s1 mk1 golf 1.1/1.3 project .
thats it im looing for a s1 mk1 haha

Ive recently been looking for a Series 1 GTi, prices vary so much.

If I were you id work out how much I can afford to pay and see what is out there for that money but be warned if you aint got much you might be biting off more than you can chew!

Parts and trim can be especially hard to find for Series 1's nowadays and even if you do find bits and pieces they can reach silly money as there are alot of people looking, be warned.

I would budget for £5k upwards
