Stunning Mk1 gti in Alpine White SOLD

Regretably after almost 2 years of ownership I'm having to sell my baby as I've driven her a grand total of 7 times and I need the garage space now.

The car is a Non-sunroof model standard gti in alpine white which had a full body restoration 2 weeks before I bought it so the paintwork is immaculate and hasn't even seen rain since the respray. I spent a long time looking for a good straight mk1 which had been restored, was standard and wasn't like 6k! This was the best by a country mile. The only fault with the body is a small indent on top of the drivers wing about the size of a 50p piece but this hasn't broken the paint and can easily be manipulated out so does not effect the appearance of the car and it's difficult to see on the close up photo. Other than that the car is spot on and drives well. The dash hasn't sagged, there's no wear on the bolsters and the parcel shelf is present and intact. VDO Guages work and the only slight issue is that the light on the trip computer intermintently flashes but doesn't effect the car and probably just needs a quick fix but I simply don't have the time.

Mileage is 267k but the A4 folder full of receipts that is with the car shows that the engine had a full rebuild in 1997 and you would never guess the car has covered this mileage, it really is mint and there isn't a single scratch or stone chip on her. The car comes with a full 12 months MOT but due to the lack of use is currently sorn'd. I had intended to put some nices coilovers on the car and some splitties which would make a perfect show car but sadly a full time job, house, wife, 2 kids under 5 and a dog mean I just don't have the time I thought I did and the mk1 is taking up too much precious space in my garage.
