This is my '83 1.3 Driver, 81k miles, 2 door, non sunroof golf in Regatta blue. I bought this from the little old lady who bought it new 28 years ago. It was parked under cover next to her house and she never went further than 60 miles a week. Its original paint, glass, plates and even dealer key ring. This is the cleanest car i have ever owned and needs minor work to finish. There are no parking dinks i can find except the small dent by the drivers side rear light, see photo. It has had a repair done on the back of both sills and although still strong i had planned to redo them a little neater, see photo. I have both bumpers i only took them off to clean underneath. Its starts like a watch and runs lovely. last Mot it had new front wheel bearing, disks, pads….. and seems to always had anything it needed. Unfortunately there is no history as she threw it all out a few weeks before i bought the car as it was cluttering up her house! :angry:

As the wife is about to deliver our first child anyday, for an easy sale id like to sell her as she is without tax/mot, as i dont have the time or money to sort it out. My bottom line figure for the car like this is £1,500, i will not negotiate on it. She is in amazing condition and would easily be worth £2,500 taxed and mot'd but id prefer for her to be used rather than stored away. Car is in Lampeter, west wales.
