Mk 1 Golf C Special 1.1 petrol in Gambia Red.
Completely original apart from a webber carb and electronic fuel pump.
Full service history and only 62000 miles from new. I also have the original bill of sale from the VW dealership in Southampton for the sum of ?4592.30!!!!

I bought this car in September 2006 and had to put it through an mot due to it  being stood for 4 years. Fortunately it only needed a new windscreen.

I also fitted an IMMACULATE and complete gti interior. And also sourced a roof rack from 1983 which is rather funky.

Every Engine Gasket and Seal (cost a fortune!)
Two New Tyres

The car is very very quick for an 1100cc prob due to the webber, its uber reliable and has never let me down. Ive done some huge commutes in it when my camper has been off the road and its an absolute pleasure to drive.

All the body work is original, solid and there is no rust.

Included is the original "state of the art" Panasonic two knob Am stereo which cost a whopping ?102 in 1983!

The car has 10 mot and 10 months tax.

The paint is rather tired and could do with a good t-cut, also as you can see in the pic- i havent taken all the adhesive off when i removed the sticker that ran below the black trim across the side of the car. And the rear arch spats are missing.

Only selling because Ive just bought a Passat estate. Im looking for ?700

Kinda! Theres a bloke coming to pick it up on Friday morning. but if he doesnt turn up i'll let you know… unfortunately another guy came to test drive it the other day and snapped the drivers side handbrake cable- joy… i cant beleive how many time wasters ive had whilst trying to sell this car  :?
