Year of manufacture - 1983 (Registered Sept 1983 and declared new.  I am owner 14)
Mileage - 222,000 (Note: engine is correct DX type but not original engine number)

Condition - Mechanically sound & running but there is corrosion to sort out (a good base for a project or OE resto)
Service history - All MoTs and lots of receipts and prior owner details as per image but no service record present sadly

Description:

I've had the car for just over 11 years but it has been used far less than I'd hoped (<2000 miles!) but has been great every time I've taken it out and given some great memories.
Has always been garaged in the dry and I don't think it has ever been driven out in the rain under my ownership.
Correct original "A" type Mk1 Pslots (narrower between Ps than Mk2s which are "AA") and correct original centre caps.
TSR 270mm front brake upgrade before my ownership (Brackets to offset calipers plus Black Diamond Discs & Pagid Pads)
Immobiliser works but Laser Alarm Does not.
Two sets of keys but drivers door is different key to boot/passenger door/ignition.
VIN on V5, Chassis (Scuttle), and Chassis Plate (Front Panel) all match.
Engine is smooth and strong.

Headlining is in excellent condition
Interior is in very good condition with only drivers seat in need of repair (the usual)
Fuel filler neck and surround in excellent condition
Sills have surface corrosion - Evidence of repairs work at rear of each sill as per pics.
Rear Arches in good conditon
Front arches in poor condition where wings meet sills or front panel
Front Panel in fair condition as per pics
Lower Rear panel in poor condition where meets rear arches.
Boot floor and wheel well in excellent condition.
Front scuttle in good condition
Rear tailgate in good condition (one blister on window seal)
Have replacement passengers door (painted) and side stripe decals as existing skin is stoved in.
Have spare sunroof panel (original still fitted has a small dent).  Roof also has a blister as per pic.

Recently fitted Low miles OE Replacement Radiator Fan (2pin Type)
Recently Rebuilt main engine loom.
Cambelt, waterpump, waterpump belt and thermostat all replaced under my low miles ownership.
Tyres have less than 200 miles on them.

Advertising here first for a while as would like to go to a good home of a knowledgeable enthusiast but if no joy here then I will advertise more widely.
Reason for sale - Rarely find time to enjoy!  Plus will need the space in the garage, and the funds eventually, both for when building works starts on house renovation.

Within a few months it will be eligible for classic car status with DVLA, so tax exempt.  I've loved owning, driving and working on it when time allowed and will miss even just looking at it
