Silver Campaign for sale (Reading, Berks).

This is a a really sad moment for my wife and I .  We have owned this car since 1985 and are really sad to see it go, but unfortunately it has to go as we cannot afford to run 3 cars.

Shortly after buying it I had a GTI engineering plus pac conversion fitted and in April this year I had it rolling roaded at 127 BHP running on 95 octane unleaded.  Current mileage is 119,825 and the MOT runs until April 2008.

Since I have owned it it has had only Mobil 1 fully synthetic oil. There is stacks of service history, but more recently I have been doing the basic servicing myself (last oil/filter/plug change was in April this year.

Unfortunately the bodywork has got a bit tatty with damage on one front wing, a supermarket crease on the passenger door and worst of all rust inside the sunroof aperture.  Some muppet has also flattened one of the jacking points using a trolley jack.  There are also a few minor things that I have not had the time or energy to sort out.

Engine and gearbox are excellent (changed the gearchange linkage bushes a while ago).  New front disk this year (I have the calliper remounting brackets to fit 270mm disks, but fitted standard disks as I was selling it).

I am selling it on Ebay, but would really like it to go to an ehthusiast who has the time to give it the TLC it deserves, so thought I would see if anyone here was interested. Photos and more info on Ebay.
