Series one gti*****NO LONGER FOR SALE******

Pains me to sell this car but time and money are the driving forces behind this.( and new sportline cabby)
It`s a 1980 series one gti, 6 previous owners,155k on original engine and 5 speed box, mot till 8th feb 2009, tax currently sorn, not fully stamped history but lots of paper work and history with 19 mot certs to prove milage,factory fitted sunroof,new exhaust,recent service( ht leads/oil ect).

Its currently on fk coilovers but will be changed to apex 35mm lowered and uprated springs and shocks before selling.

Interior- very good/mint interior nearly complete with exception of lower shelf under glove box and underlay.

Exterior- all round a good/straight and complete car, its the body work which requires the work to bring upto show standard. It will need a drivers wing ( one provided ) and rear arch replaced/repaired,A-pillar repair and other areas on the car have odd rust bubbles, details of which can be forwarded on to any serious buyers.

Overall the car stands out due to its originallity and good condition and needs someone to take it to the next level, it was also featured in performance tuner magizine at the start of the year.
