Hi All,

I currently have a project that I have hardly started and am unsure that I will finish.

It's a mk1 non-sunroof golf gti with interior/carpet stripped out (though I do have interior etc. to go with it) and  it needs welding on the drivers floor pan and a new offside wing with a couple of touch ups here and there, the rest of the car is sound with no other rot as far as I can see.

It has suspension/brakes, ASA 5 spoke alloys and a single wiper conversion.

You will also need new roof vinyl. Obviously if you go down the 20vt route, you will need new brakes / calipers and convert to discs on the rear, most likely need new suspension too!

I also have  a 1.8T 20v AGU engine and gearbox with ancillaries
 and the engine wiring harness. I do have ecu and key from the car the 1.8t came out of but I didn't get the other electrics as I was going to use megasquirt/qpeng ecu. The electrics in the car were pretty screwed but I have bought a wiring loom off ebay not so long ago. I would say the car has been resprayed in the past 5-10 years and is black with mettalic flake.

I have a 1.6 gti engine with 5 speed gearbox and quite a few more mk1 bits. (cylinder head, radiator, hoses, washer bottle etc.)

You can take the whole lot for the price listed. (a lot less than I paid)

May swap for a running car of some sort, W.H.Y?
