mk1 sportline k reg for sale

The sad day has come when circumstances have forced me to put my mk1 golf up for sale!!!

After taking the engine apart due to head gasket failure i discovered that the piston block had seen better days and is not worth continuing with. She is now sat on my drive without an engine feeling very sorry for herself!!

I am open to offers now as she stands as other commitments would limit the amount of time I can spend on her but if I don't have any feedback within a week I will fit a second hand engine and sell as a complete car.

I believe this would be ideal for somebody looking for an easy project as they can make the decision on what engine goes in.

She  was modified when I bought her which gave me the ideal opportunity to make the changes I'd always dreamt of (see picture, jul 08) since i have owned her she has had, respray, new roof (mohair), new suspension (stainless steel coil over), new exhaust, electric windows fitted, new drive shaft etc etc etc  all receipts kept.

I am looking for offers in the region £2000.

p.s. i also have a full alpine speaker system most of which has never been fitted and was speced specifically for this car that can be sold separately. Head unit with full ipod control, front speakers with door pods, rear speakers, amp, gold plated crossovers.
