Mk1 Golf Clipper Cabrio Unfinished Project For Sale!

Hi everyone here i have for sale my 1990 orange mk1 golf clipper cabriolet, I am unfortunatly having to sell as i have a baby on the way and need a bigger car,

I have built the mk1 up from next to nothing, as you will be able to see from the pics everything is new or nearly new and is in very good condition, it needs a few bits finishing off to get it running and ready for an mot but anyone handy with a spanner and into their cars will have it back on the road in no time,

 

The car has:

1.8 16v kr engine (done 68,000 miles)
Reconditioned gearbox
Brand new alcantara interior including doorcards (corrado front seats and comes with matching cushion)
13" deep dish alloy wheels newly refurbed with kumho tyres
Bigger brake setup with braided hoses and drilled and grooved discs
Uprated adjustable jom suspension set up
Mk2 dash and centre console
Sports steering wheel
Orange poolball gearknob
Lots of detailed touches
New seals around whole car
Chrome radiator mounings
Chrome window winders, mirror adjusters, door handles, door pins and door locks
No rust or rot anywhere on the car (very very solid)
Extra paint for touching up when needed from stonechips etc…
Smoked black headlights
De-badged grille
Clear and smoked rear lights
Wolfsburg number plate holders
New black mats
Cream torneauu cover and lots more
 

Main parts to finish off:

Electrics need wiring up (all are there bar loom for headlights)
Needs centre section for exhaust and manifold (have peco backbox in vgc)
Needs fuel setup for engine and coolant bottle (have new fuel lines)
Needs new hood (frame and old hood is bolted to the car but has tears)
Needs passenger side drive shaft
Could do with paint flatting off if your a perfectionist!
 

This car has had a lot of time and effort put into it to get it to the stage it is at now so please dont make me any silly offers but i will consider serious ones,

 

Private number plate H14 GLH not included in the sale,

 

No tax or mot obviously as it is a project so will need to be towed away,

 

Loads of history and reciepts totalling over ?8000 on top of what i have spent,
