Description:
reluctantly sellig my mk1. :-(
i have owned this for nearly a year and have had an amazing time with it. spent alot but well worth it but now with work and family i have no time to finish what i started.
it has had.
enging rebuild.
head gasket.
stem seals/
new radiator.
new water pump.
new timing belt kit.
new arb bushes.
arb clamp bolts renewed.
new pads and discs.
full service.
new tyres in december.
has had the carb converted from a peirbeurg to a weber.

loads of receipts and bits for it.
i have a spare engine. gearbox. grills. lights and various bits that can go with her as well.
shes been lowered on jamex shocks and springs, dont know how much but its pretty low and a bumpy ride but handling is superb.
she has a grey mohair roof which could do with a good clean (renovo) and has had a small repair done (20p size) but does not leek. and comes with grey tonneau cover.
good points.
she is beautiful

loads of new parts.
comes with spare parts.
roof works fine.
electric windows.
original bbs alloys.
4 good tyres.
bad points.
timing is slightly out, over runs sometimes. just need s bringing in. been using her as it is and she runs amazing.
rust bubble on passengers rear arch. about size of 50p/
rust on passenger quarter window where it looks like an attempt to brake in. before i owned her. (see pics)
laquer peel on rear bumper and paint peel from where its been nudged. (again before i owned her)
choke cable need to be put into correct position.
interior could do with a clean up.
usual bolster wear on drivers seat but all original interior.
shes very quick for a standard 1.8. turns heads wherever you go and has alot of attention.
very lovely mk1 and will be sad to see her go.
