mk1 golf cabriolet tastfully modifed elec roof and windows!

elec roof and windows! roof in good conditon!

sadly the cabby has got to go to fund for a new project,
loads and loads of recipts basicly a complete overhaul the list is below but im sure i have missd a hell of alot of it.

body work:
black with the clippet kit chrome side strips smoothed boot and number plate recess welded and smoothed, new bumper sprayed up due to the old one crackd slightly but not fitted as of yet (will be done asap) crystal clear headlamps double grill (have to drive down country lanes so these come usefull with upgraded spot lamp bulbs) i have the old standerd lights that will go with the car. crystal clear side indicators and bumper indicaters. clear rear lamps.

engine:
1800GTi full super sprint from down pipe back. k and n panal filter, powder coated silver inlet manifold with polished power rohr pipe and powder coated black rocker and cam belt covers.

brakes:
new discs and pads up front with new shoes at the rear. full braided brake hose kit with a complete new fluid change.

suspension:
full koni yellow top adjustable dampness all round and the rears are height adjustable too!  lowerd on 40mm springs all round.
full poly bush kit fitted apart from the wishbones (these will e inlcuded in the sale for the new owner to fit when they see fit.)
rear axle was degreased and painted in smooth hamerite black when removed so its not going to get all scabby for a few years to come.

interior:
full clipper interior (i think) all good drivers seat is in good condition no saggy side bolsters. rears have a couple of small fag burns (previous owner   ) mfa trip computer fully working WITH MPG!!!!!!!

ice:
pioneer deh p80mp mp3 player with 6 disc changer uprated front speakers and rear (but kept behind the standerd door cards to keep factory look) 12" pionner sub in the boot with 4 gauge power cable and expensive phono cables!!!!!!! i like my music so i always upgrade the steros in my cars but as i say i like to keep everything so you cant really see it to keep that factory look.

security:
full cat1 alarm Toad ai606 with proximity so the alarm can still be armd whilst roof is down, so if anyone enters the vehicles "bubble" i.e. steps withing a foot of the car it beeps and if they go to grab anthing or try to pull the door lock pins up the alarm sounds. centrel locking fitted too! the alarm protects all doors tailgate and bonnet aswell as the inside and as i say a approx a foot around the car.

general:
the car is always serviced! recently had an oil and filter change, fuel filter plugs leads dizzy rotor cap etc etc etc!! new heater matrix so the heating is spot on!
new radiater recently had a tune up by the local tune and test garage. like i say i have had lots of new parts fitted and all my recipts i keep to prove. the car has done hardly any mileage as i have access to other cars. 15" ats cups with good tyres and they are mint!!!!!! as new!

why am i selling:
i bought this car in the intion to keep. bought it in the winter as a project to do up, so as i was going to keep it no one was spared! as time went on i finaly got it finished and loved every minute of it. every where i go the car gets looks! always getting into conversations when im at traffic lights.
but it has got to go now to fund for a new project. if i had the space id keep it put it in storage and only bring it out on nice days, but i thought whats the point, i want it to get used and appreciated. but money is tight and i really cant afford to have both projects on the go.

its up for ?2500 but im prob not going to see anywhere near that so will accept ?2000

thanks alot and enjoy the pics.

im located in leicsester 10minutes from junction 21 m1

i always have the last laugh ;)
