Little red! 1.1

1.1 3dr Golf, 1983. Tax untill Jan 08 / MOT'd until July 08
Never let me down, had him for almost 3 years drive him to work everyday and i'll be sad to sell it.
Reason for sale is little red is my first car and felt was time for a change. Although im reluctant.

Problems: Oil pressure buzzer goes off when cold, for 2 minutes. Seems to be electrical as have had the oil pressure tested and all is fine.
Did used to have an oil leak but solved now. Had new head gasket fitted.
Also new radiator.

Drivers Front wing isnt original (is the worst condidtion rust wise) - I do have a new unsprayed wing to go with it. Otherwise Body work is completely solid & all original paintwork. No welding done, Good for age.

wear of bolster of drivers seat, as with many mk1 gti seats.

How bady is the condition of the body work and how many miles has it done. Also how is the engine, does it run smoothly?

EllisB - surface rust only slightly around the drivers side wing on the wheel arch. Nothing major i will put photos up below of the worst bits.
Also on rear passenger side the wheel arch trim fell off so looks abit naff.  (looks worse in the picture cos its mostly mud).
Im guessing the car has done 152,000 there is no proof of this  (clock says 52000 at the moment- doubt it has been round twice)
Runs smoothly- i love driving it!!
