Lhasa green MK1 1.8 GTi

121K miles loads of history shiny paint and no sunroof!

Fairly stock but lowered 40mm with top and bottom strut braces and harder suspension bushes and that 5th injector enrichment "standard" modification.

In the two years I've had it its had a cam belt, water pump, injectors, new battery, new clutch (and gearbox seal and flywheel seal at the same time) new top mounts, 4 new tyres, new braided fuel lines throughout and more I'm sure that I can't remember right now.

Its got an Alpine head unit in it.














It needs a new non return valve fitting on the fuel pump to sort the warm start but I might do that if I've got 5 minutes.  I have a brand new fuel pump and non return valve to go with the car.

There's the obligatory wear on the driver seat but its not irrepairable.

I have the single light grille too if you want it.

The display always says -30 outside temp (fairly standard behaviour) but all the rest of it works.

Answers to the standard questions if you're looking to buy a MK1 golf:
* there is NO RUST on the filler neck or in the wheel well
* it DOESN'T smoke when you start it
* it DOESN'T crunch into second gear
