FOR SALE: MK1 GTI RIVAGE

I'm currently selling my MK1 Golf Rivage.  It's a K reg, it's colour is Dragon Pearl Green and has just recently gone over the 100k mark.  I do know these models are quite rare but not too sure how rare this model is.  If you click the link below, it tells you the specifications of all mk1 golfs:

I purchased this car in Aug 2005, where i kept it garaged and off road until i sorted out the few things that needed doing. The previous owner had no history what so ever other than 6 owners from new as per the Reg Cert.  The electric hood has never worked since i've owned it, so i've drained the fluid out and now manually operate it.  I didn't see the need to get the electric hood rigged up again as it works fine doing it manually.  The old roof that was on the car leaked and as you can see from the photo's, has water stained both front seats.  I have since then put a new black mohair hood on (Oct 2006) so no more leaks (receipts to prove).  I also alarmed and immobilised the car (Meta Cat 1) and put a stereo system (both professionally installed). Stereo consists of Kenwood Head Unit, Eclipse 6X9's concealed in a stealth shelf running from a mounted amp in the boot, aswell as tweeters mounted on the dash and front door speakers.  The car at the moment has Angel Eye Crystal headlamps installed but have originals to go with car too.  The car has both a grey hood cover for when the top is down and a cream coloured cover which i purchased later.  There is a tiny bit of rust forming under the left rear light, a small discoloured patch on the rear bumper and some very small splatters of white paint by the rear left wheel arch, close up shots in the photos to show.  I am selling due to the fact that i don't drive it anymore since i now live in my own house and not my parents, and it's currently in a rented garage and could use the money saved on more important things.  It really is a lovely little head turner, i really don't want to sell it but this is the most sensible option.

The car is MOT'd til July 2010 but i can put a fresh MOT on it when i sell it, and taxed until 31 July 2010.  I'm looking for somewhere in the region of £2,250 ono. Thanks.  Feel free to cal me on 07989 290667 for any further questions.
