Black Mk1 Campaighn,Little Project,Good bodywork,PICS UPDATE

hiya all,

this is a very sad day for me as i am considering selling my mk1 campaighn because i have no time for a little project, I WILL BE BUYING A RUNNING MK1 GTI :mrgreen:  

you people might remember i brought this mk1 in january of a guy who took the engine out for a 20v conversion but he ran out of money, so i got it of him with all the original parts, including engine gearbox airbox, basically everything for the car to back to original. my aim was to re-fit the engine as its a rare campaighn model and i felt that you should'nt mess with campaighns and they should be kept original. 8)

the bodywork is original, its actually a very good shell, a good polish and the car will look good, it has all the campaighn extras, the only thing missing is the red trim on the front grill.

when i got the car they guy told me it drove perfect, he told me the engine and gearbox are good, but i have not heard the engine running as its in the boot. no tax or mot.

?1000 and its cheap bearing in mind its a campaighn, all it needs is a good mechanic and a nice sunny sunday and it should be running and someone will be a very happy man or a happy dubchick.

oh yes, the left side engine mount has been cut off, but it comes with car, it just needs to be welded back in, nice1 foxymk1 :y:

will have more pics tomorrow morning, i after ?1000 which is well worth it for a campaighn with all standard extras.

the car is in Birmingham, and will have to be trailered away.
