88 golf gti karmann convertible

HI, I'm reluctantly selling my mk1 convertible and thought i would offer it to some true enthusiasts.
 The car has covered 87000 miles and has had 3 owners from new with lots of service history. The car is unmodified apart from a cd player although i still have the original radio.
 The interior is in excellent condition with no rips or tears, mechanically there are no faults with the car but the bodywork has some small areas of rust but nothing serious. The car is not mint but i would consider it to be in very good condition.
 The roof is around 6months old and is mohair and does not leak.
The car is taxed and tested
 I was looking for around ?2000 but i am open to offers as the car has to go!

 yes the car is still for sale, i have just done the mot with no problems.
