1982 GL auto £2800

Hi, 
Here is my '82 GL 1.5 auto. I bought it in February 2023, off an old guy who looked after the car for the Lord and Lady owners, who left it to him. (There's still little sample bottles of Grandma perfume in the ashtray!).
My intention was to engine swap it, but I just didn't have the time. 
It seems to have been very well mechanically maintained, where as the body work has had a very DIY approach. There has been rattle can repairs to a few panels. The bodywork is definitely tatty, but luckily it's a VW so we can call it 'patina'! 
I changed a rusty filler neck, had some welding done to the rear seatbelt mount. Fitted new AP coilovers. 
It runs really well, but is slow to start when warm. I think the auto choke is over fueling. But has never not started. 
It's done about 95k.
