1.3 MK1 Golf driver - REDUCED TO £1999

Time has come to sell my daily driver as i need to get myself a van for work.  I have another mk1 so its ok.

ive known this car all my life, it was my pals dads car, when he passed it was stored for 10 years till i resurrected it.  There are 5 on the log book but its been in the family since it was 2 years old, its had a plate change too which added an owner

this is a solid car, the only rust will be under the rear arches, and a few bubbles on the lower rear valance.

The paint is good for a daily driver although if you want something better you will need to paint it.  For example, the bonnet doesnt match, and some laquer peel on the roof which has been touched in.  There are scratches on the car, its 30 years old.. there is a dent on the drivers front wing, and a few on the bonnet, all panels except the roof and front panel have been painted in the past

The interior has been replaced with mk2 16v rainbow seats, the bench has also been trimmed to match, there is a momo wheel fitted.

It has the more reliable webber carb installed and since the photos the standard airbox has been fitted with warm air feed for the cold weather

15 " rivage alloy wheels with 195/45/15 tyres
vauxhall 256 calipers with mk2 16v cross drilled discs
vr6 servo and master cylinder

the brake conversion is 2 weeks old and its stopping performance is comparable to my mechanics audi a3 1.8t according to him.

new filler neck
new fuel lines from tank to hard lines
new cv boots
new top mounts
fresh service
original fift tinted rear lights
solid rear taigate has been smoothed, although for some reason the paint reacted where i filled the wiper hole.
new door linings, this car is totally waterproof no leaks whatsoever.


everything works nothing is broken, long mot and tax, ready to jump in and drive.

the price is 2.5k and i believe its worth every penny as ive been watching 5 door models with no tax or mot and a list longer than the yellow pages go for 1500.

find another sorted 1.3 in this color for less, i honestly believe this car is rarer than a gti
