Larger Servo Brake Light????

Fitted larger M/C and servo to car and now have no brake lights, how did you guys out there who have done this mod, get around it?
Fit a switch?, T into pipe?
Didn't really want to go down the route of cutting into the pipe.

I used a T piece, but I knew about the problem, so planned for it.

Heard something about using Scirocco Pedal or coloum part which has switch in from factory, anyone know more about this? Or even about a switch position for cruise control option?

Just use a tee piece the one fitted to any MK2 under the bonnet is fine -scrappy visit- and bolt it to the existing MK1 bracket under the master cylinder .

I used 2 tee pieces one for each brake switch . You will need two small pipes to connect from the master to the tee's but thats easy to obtain and cheap .

Saves a lot of hassle trying to re route wires and mount a pedal switch , easiest option tee piece ….

The Scirocco does indeed have a proper switch on the column outer. I don't know what's involved in wiring it up, but it does look like a cleaner solution to the problem.

Thats what I'm after, just to make it all look neater underthere.
Spent ages hiding looms etc don't want to spoil it all now with this last bit of wiring

The existing wires must go straight into the fuse box so, once you've found them, a quick snip and you've two less engine bay wires to worry about.

Exactly!
Just need to know what part to get from these scirocco's and I'll be off down the scrappys!
