wobbly accelerator pedal
Had a look and the round bar that runs from the bottom of the pedal to a bracket on the bulkhead seem to be missing a circlip. the bar runs through a bracket and has a groove near the end which I assume must be for a circlip or something
Anyone know what size it is or where I can get one?
Cheers

This originally came with a foam bushing that held the round wire connector in the circular hole on the pull rod running through the bulkhead.
Only the foam bushing was a goner - so I replaced mine with a couple of rubber washers for a domestic tap, pushed onto the end of the round wier connector - cheap as chips

it has a red rubber 'bung' pushed in the mount on the car and then the spigot from the accelerator pushes in the middle.
I would try the vw dealer first and if they have stopped making them i reckon you might be able to make one out of a rubber bung from the top of a old style home brew bottle kit, if that makes any sense, as they look like the same kind of rubber and same colour.
