Wing Mirror

Hi Guys,

Just wondered if the wing mirrors on my 1987 GTI cabriolet can be replaced with the MK1 tin top mirrors or even the early MK2 wing mirrors??

Will the early MK2 wing mirrors also fit? Its just my wing mirrors are white the same as my car?

Hi John,
I can't say weather or not the early Mk2 mirrors will fit, but I can tell you they are completely different part numbers.
Your mirror part numbers should be 172 857 502 A (off side) and 154 857 501 (near side), where as the early Mk2 vehicles with quarter light windows, are 192 857 502 (off side) and 192 857 501 A (near side).
