Wing Fitting

Does anyone know if the front wing from a cabrio will fit a standard hatchback?

No such thing as cabby wing and hatchback wing!!!! The variations are based on years, not body styles, and there's overlaps between year and body style.

They vary if the wing is post 1986, due to the inclusion of a side repeater.

And wings before 1980 will have no hole for the bumper side clip, due to  earlier cars using small (chrome or black painted metal for GTI) bumpers instead of the plastic ones.

So, there's 3 wings, all based on years, and the last ones (1986-1992) fall into a year range where only cabbys were available. So do the early ones, mind you.

The above also applies to Caddy but not Jetta.

I got a later wing and filled in the hole for the repeater. Looks the same other than that.
