Windscreen
I'm after your opinion.
I need to replace my windscreen, as it's got a couple of big chips and a crack in it.
I'm not sure which way to go, I can either;
Get one through insurance, but not sure of the fit of these, has anyone done this?
Get a good second hand one, but have to pay some fitting costs
Or try to get a new one from VW, but this would be expensive if at all possible.
Any help will be very gratefully received
Cheers

Windscreens are windscreens are windscreens, as long as it meets all the EU/British standard regs you wil be OK unless you really want VW orginality
Where abouts in Barnsley are you????
1983 Mars Red 1.8 Golf GTI
1987 Alpine White 1.8 Clipper Cabriolet
The trouble with doing nothing is that you never know when you are finished.

Is that a green tinted one?
New or used?
I'd be very interested in that offer.
