Windscreen chrome trim
The trim on my Cabrio was looking really pants
compared to the rest of the car. Spent about an hour this afternoon replacing it;
Would be impossible without this tool; (from Frost but borrowed this one of Mini owning mate)
New and old; (without joiner clip thingys)
Ordered trim from Hayselden VW Barnsley, seemed quite OK looking up old parts; EKTA says you need two pieces but one is enough to do one screen. After I'd cut one in half I realised I could have gone all way around and just had one join…. :?
However this means that I now have the second unused surplus to requirements. VW charge ?10.87 so I'll let this go for ?7:50 inc UK postage if anyone wants it (will do one screen with about 18 inchs left over, bought for '87 cabrio assume other MK1s will be same?)

No tool, you can get it from Frost auto restoration ?19.
Not sure about rest of trim, it's all AOK on mine, you'll need to ask your local main stealers.
