water comes in when i open the door or window??

Hello all ive got a h reg golf cab and when i open the door or window when it raines it drips in from the corner, there is a small peice of rubber on the top of the door and thats where it seems to come in. if you no where i mean? has anyone got any idea what im going on about i do but do you if so could you please help its ruining the seats its a tennis edition and in really good condition so its getting on my nerves now. thanks for your help.

I'm not a cab owner, although my brother has had one in the past (the only Mk1 he's ever sold - we've kept all the others!)

Some questions to help define the problem:

Is the roof material split above the door, near this area? (common enough, and leads to drips on the seats)

Is the window glass adjusted to come up to the top of its channel in the rubber "cap" on the top of the door?

Does the roof sit properly on the junction of the windscreen/rubber door-cap?

Do both sides leak - if not, what is different about the leaking/non-leaking side's parts?

Any cab owners have other questions, based on their own experience?
