Sunroof drain holes

Hello,as anyone got any pics of where the sunroof drain tubes exit at the rear corners? Mine have coroded and fell off,or have been cocked up in the past.

Ive welded in new nearside rear chassis now and have outer wheel arch
cut, shaped and ready to weld in.Not sure of original factory design on drain tube exit,i guess it might be similar shape to the front ones on the   A pillar but the other way up maybe?

Good to see you ploughing on with it Rustmuncher. My rear tubes hung down and poked out of the gap between the trailing end of the rear arch, rear panel and rear inner wing if that makes sense. They weren't fixed to anything, just hanging there. Lot forward to more pics.

Thanks markwon,i'll take heed! Just read an old post about the same subject and have decided to extend the tubes with a stainless pipe that exits the very bottom of the rear corners on the inner bit that looks like a triangle shape. i'll weld it into the triangle panel and have it long enough to fit or remove tube from inside the rear corner behind the panel. will put some pics up when ive done it. that way it'll remain dry inside the corner.

Nice one - the sunroof drain tube extensions ar excellent  - must do that to mine at some point. What brand of seamsealer do you use and how have you applied it?

Cheers

Really good to see that rust like that can be sorted - mine looks a lot like that at the rear - but it will receive the treatment!!!

Bring on a dry garage, a MIG welder, and some long winter evenings…  :)

Ive found that 3M seam sealer is best for longivety,it wont crack or shrink much.I use the tube's with applicator gun, also use a 1ltr can aswell apply with a 1/2inch brush liberally.you can apply many coats to make it look factory and original.Warm it up before you use it to get good adhesion.
