There are 2 cables.
One that gies from the tilt lever to the lift mechanism and another cable that runs from one side to the other.
You can see which one is no good, just buy lifting the tilt lever and looking if you got movement of one of the levers.
The lower cable is easy as it just hooks in and out etc.
The one that goes to the tilt lever is a litre more tricky and may require the cover lifting up a bit.
Not sure if you can accsess it from the tilt lever cover surround and connect therevans then use a rid with the other end taped to it to feed it down, like a fish tape.
I bougt cables before from VW.

easy as you got the main one intact.
The short one runs across the back so just slip in and out.
Do a search on here it's bound to be covered, with pics too.
cheers

if your wire is snapped you can just reconnect it using those electrical wire terminal blocks and screw in another bit of wire to bridge a gap and get it nice and tight..

I replaced the wires in 2 seats copying the advice from this site, dead easy.

Do a photo guide and a write up, it can then go in the sticky section. Bound to help others out.
We need more of them to help out.
When I redo my roof later in the new year I may even do a Video… woop woop!!!!!!!
